To provide a novel antitumor steroid compound which can be synthesized efficiently and stereoselectively by the technique of organic synthetic chemistry. A steroid derivative represented by general formula (I) or a salt thereof, wherein R represents C1-C13 alkyl; A represents hydroxyl or a group which can readily be hydrolyzed into a hydroxyl group; and X and Y represent in combination oxo or C2-C3 alkylenedioxy, or separately X represents hydroxyl, C1-C5 alkoxy or a group which can readily be hydrolyzed into a hydroxyl group, and Y represents hydrogen or C1-C5 alkoxy, provided Y represents hydrogen when X represents hydroxyl or a group which can readily be hydrolyzed into a hydroxyl group, while Y represents C1-C5 alkoxy when X represents C1-C5 alkoxy.
La présente invention propose un nouveau composé stéroïde antitumoral susceptible d'être synthétisé efficacement et avec stéréosélectivité par les procédés usuels en chimie organique de synthèse. Ce dérivé de stéroïde est représenté par la formule générale (I) ou l'un des sels correspondants. R représente un C¿1?-C¿13? alkyle. A représente un hydroxyle ou un groupe pouvant être préalablement hydrolysé en un groupe hydroxyle. X et Y représentent en combinaison un oxo ou C¿2?-C¿5? alkylènedioxy, ou de façon séparée, X représente un hydroxyle, un C¿1?-C¿5? alcoxy ou un groupe pouvant être préalablement hydrolysé en un groupe hydroxyle, alors que Y représente un hydrogène ou un C¿1?-C¿5? alcoxy, à condition qu'Y représente un hydrogène pendant qu'X représente un hydroxyle ou un groupe pouvant être préalablement hydrolysé en un groupe hydroxyle, alors qu'Y représente un C¿1?-C¿5? alcoxy quand X représente un C¿1?-C¿5? alcoxy.
