Structural stiffening (14), a stiffened structure (10) and apparatus (37) and method for forming the structural stiffening (14). The structural stiffening (14) is formed using first and second forming means adapted to respectively receive first and second sheets of material (39) and form an upstanding portion (30) in each of said sheets, feed means adapted to feed a filler material (24) between said upstanding portions (30), and fixing means 50 adapted to fix said upstanding portions (30) to said filler material (24). The structural stiffening may be attached to a structure to be stiffened (12) to form a stiffened structure (10).
Cette invention concerne un raidisseur structural (14), une structure raidie (10) ainsi qu'une installation (37) et un procédé de fabrication du raidisseur (14). Le raidisseur structural (14) s'obtient à partir d'un premier et d'un second dispositifs de mise en forme conçus pour recevoir respectivement une première et une seconde feuille de matériau (39) et former une partie verticale (30) dans chacune des feuilles. Des dispositifs d'alimentation sont conçus pour amener un matériau de remplissage (24) entre les parties verticales (30) et des dispositifs de fixation (30) assurent la fixation desdites parties verticales sur ledit matériau de remplissage (24). Le raidisseur peut être fixé sur une structure à raidir (12) et former une structure raidie (10).
