A stirling cooling device, wherein refrigerant is circulated in a refrigerant circulating circuit, and the refrigerant having a cool heat received as a latent heat from a stirling refrigerating machine is evaporated in an evaporator to cool the inside of a cooling chamber by utilizing a heat of vaporization produced by the evaporation; carbon dioxide as a natural refrigerant can be used suitably as the refrigerant.
