A stitched laminate, in which plural sheets respectively having plural tow-like carbon fibers arranged in parallel to each other are laminated, with the orienting directions of the carbon fiber yarns of the respective sheets kept at different angles against a reference direction, and are stitched integrally using stitching threads. The fineness of each of the carbon fiber yarns is in a range of 1, 200 to 17, 000 Tex, and the pitch of the arranged carbon fiber yarns is in a range of 8 to 60 mm. In the sheets, the arranged carbon fiber yarns are widened in yarn width to ensure that no gap substantially exists between the respectively adjacent carbon fiber yarns. The plural carbon fiber yarns supplied to form sheets are respectively brought into contact with plural rollers, to be bent and widened in yarn width.
L'invention concerne un matériau support renforçateur piqué de façon multiaxiale qui comprend plusieurs feuilles chacune possédant plusieurs fils de fibre de carbone sous forme de câble, lesquels sont disposés de façon parallèle les uns par rapport aux autres et sont assemblés en un seul élément au moyen des fils de piqûre de manière à former un stratifié, tel que les orientations d'agencement des fibres de carbone des feuilles respectives possèdent des angles différents, pour une orientation donnée. La finesse des fils de fibre de carbone sous forme de câble est comprise entre 1200 et 17000 Tex, le pas de l'agencement susmentionné des fibres de carbone étant compris entre 8 et 60 mm, et chacune des fibres de carbone est étalée de manière à présenter une largeur de fil correspondant au pas de l'agencement susmentionné; il en résulte qu'il n'y a sensiblement pas d'interstice entre les fibres de carbone. Plusieurs fils de fibre de carbone destinés à constituer une feuille sont étalés dans leur largeur par plusieurs rouleaux respectifs et pliés.
