ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A stone picking machine is disclosed. The machine comprises a frame having a draft tongue adapted to be attached to the drawbar of a tractor, a cross-axle with a pair of wheels supporting the frame, a box mounted on the frame, means for picking up stoned in the field while the machine is being hauled by a tractor and for loading the stones in the box, and means for raising the box upwardly and for tilting it sidewise to dump the stones into a truck or a pile of stones.
