A sealed package storage device includes a base member having at least one package-receiving storage region, and one or more sealed packages that are each located in a respective package-receiving storage region. Each sealed package has an opening that has been covered with a removable cover at a surface surrounding the opening. The sealed package contains a single shaving cartridge and the cover is removable from the surface upon the application of a removing force greater than a predetermined removal force value. Each package-receiving storage region provides a retention force to retain a respective package within the package-receiving storage region, the retention force being less than he predetermined removal force value.
