A wall-mounted storage device for connection to a securing device is securely mounted to a wall carries first engagement structure, the storage device including a base member that is removably mounted to the securing device. The base member carries second engagement structure that removably engages the first engagement structure. The base member has a plurality of storage compartments and one or more packages that are each located in a respective compartment, each package containing a single razor cartridge comprising a plastic housing and one or more blades. Each of the plurality of compartments has a major longitudinal axis arranged transverse to a vertical axis of the storage device mounted to a wall, the major longitudinal axes of each package and razor cartridge contained therein being disposed substantially parallel to the compartment longitudinal axis.
