A storage film feed for feeding a storage film (1) from a flexible sleeve (2) open on one side at a rear side in a storage film detection device comprises a feed opening (18) comprising a penetration gap (9) for the storage film (1), with a slide (4) located in said feed opening for fixing the sleeve (2), said slide being perpendicular to a flat side of the sleeve (2), and a stopping member (6) for the slide, the flat side of the sleeve (2) resting against a stopping member when the slide (4) is actuated.
