A storage rack formed of a plurality of shelves and posts is equipped with hooks allowing the shelves to be removably mounted to the posts; each post displays a series of vertically spaced slots; each shelf displays a horizontal storage top face and narrow vertical side faces. Each corner of the shelf displays, in a side face, a notch defining a horizontal edge and a vertical edge. Each hook has a first portion adapted to be inserted in a post slot allowing the hook to be mounted to the post and a second portion extending outside the slot and shaped to receive the horizontal edge of the shelf notch with the one side face of the shelf being wedged between the post and the hook. The vertical edge of the notch, when contacting the second portion of the hook limits the horizontal movement of the shelf relative to the post.
