An storage structure for articles such as tires and wheels and other articles comprising a base frame for supporting articles, a pair of lateral frames moveably mounted to the base frame, and longitudinal support members removably mountable to the pair of lateral frames for providing shelf-supports. When the longitudinal support members are removed from the lateral frames, the lateral frames are moveable between a substantially upstanding position and a foldable about their respective one end. A storage system comprising a plurality of stackable article/tire/wheel storage structures.
