ABSTRACT A storage stable, aqueous cholesterol oxidase composition contains a buffer and sodium chloride or potassium chloride as a stabilising agent, in an amount, per litre, of 2 to 3.5 mole; it is thus possible to store the enzyme cholesterol oxidase with precipitation of the enzyme, which precipitaion would impair the measurement of the enzyme into containers.
