Strain of Lactobacillus useful as probiotics in food and naturopathic medicines and which is resistant in vitro against hydrochloric acid and gastric juices and tolerates bile salts without deconjugating them whereas strong assimilation is occurring and which has good survival at the passage through the stomach and the gastrointestinal tract and which strain is growing optimally at about 37 ~C, which strain is Lactobacillus paracasei subsp. paracasei, which is a Gram-positive, homofermentative, rod-shaped bacterium capable of producing L-lactic acid and containing three plasmids having a size of 2.2, 4.36 and 9.1 Kb, respectively. The invention also relates to a composition containing the strain and a product consisting of or containing a concentrate of the strain.
L'invention concerne une souche de Lactobacillus résistante in vitro à l'acide chlorhydrique et aux sucs gastriques et utile comme probiotique dans les aliments et dans les médicaments naturopathiques. Cette souche tolère les sels biliaires sans les déconjuguer sachant qu'une forte assimilation apparaît. Cette souche fait preuve d'une bonne survie lors de son passage par l'estomac et la région gastro-intestinale et se développe de façon optimale à environ 37 ·C. Ce lactobacille est un Lactobacillus paracasei, sous-esp. paracasei, qui est une bactérie à gram positif, homofermentaire et de forme allongée capable de produire de l'acide lactique L et contenant trois plasmides d'une taille respective de 2,2, 4,36 et 9,1 Kb. L'invention concerne également une composition contenant cette souche et un produit consistant en un concentré de cette souche ou le contenant.
