STRAINER IMPROVEMENT Abstract of the Disclosure A strainer blank comprises a flat sheet having a plurality of cutouts including a cutout adapted to define a strainer portion at the apex of a cone formed from the blank. Strainer material positioned over the cutouts defines a convex rear end at the apex which is folded during formation of the conical strainer to form a multi- ply elongated seam which adds strength and provides a sur- face area for adhesively uniting the strainer material.
