ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A strand guide installation for the continuous casting of at least three steel billets or blooms comprising a corresponding number of strand guides arranged side by side. Each strand guide is curved at least in part, is divided into segments and comprises driven rollers. These rollers are driven by means comprising power transmission shafts. The shafts which are associated with the driven rollers of an inner strand guide extend beneath the outer strand guide. These driven rollers can be fitted and removed economically rapidly and independently of adjacent strand guides.
