A strap coiling and releasing device for a winch comprises a rotatable strap reel provided on the frame of the winch with one of its ends protruding from the frame, and comprises a casing securely connected to a side of the frame. A worm, a worm shaft and a worm wheel are mounted in the casing. The worm wheel is securely connected to the protruding end of the strap reel. The worm shaft is provided on a side of the worm wheel and can move in its axial direction in the casing. Said worm is arranged around the worm shaft and is securely connected to the same. A guide mechanism, which can make the worm shaft move in its axial direction when the worm shaft rotates, is mounted between the casing and the worm or worm shaft. When the worm meshes with the worm wheel, the worm shaft or worm will disengage from the guide mechanism.

Linvention concerne un dispositif denroulement et de déroulement de bande pour treuil, lequel comprend un rouleau de bande rotatif (2) disposé sur un cadre (1) du treuil et dont une extrémité dépasse du cadre, et comprend un carter (3) connecté rigidement à un côté du cadre (1).
