ABSTRACT "HANDLE FOR STRAP WRENCHES AND OTHER TOOLS" A handle for a strap wrench or other tool is assembled from two components, which components are provided with co- operating elements whereby the two components may be releasably joined together. Preferably, each component is provided with at least one projection adapted to be received within a recess in the other component. A strap wrench comprises such a handle together with a strap, one end of the strap being attached to one component, the second component of the handle being associated with the strap by means of a guide member through which the strap may pass, thereby permitting variation in the size of the loop formed by the strap for engagement with a workpiece. The means for releasably joining together the components of the handle permit the use of the strap wrench on objects, such as a length of pipe, having inaccessible ends.
