STREET HOCKEY NET CONSTRUCTION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hockey net having a frame including first and second U-shaped members each having legs and a cross member and each U-shaped member being formed of a plurality of pipes connected by elbows, with the free ends of the legs of the U-shaped members connected to each other by additional elbows so that the U-shaped members lie in perpendicular planes, an elongated pipe extending substantially between the midpoints of the cross members of the U-shaped members, and a net overlying the elongated pipe and being connected to the legs and cross members of the first and second U-shaped members so as to leave two open sides on the hockey net. A hockey net having a plastic pipe frame consisting only of first and second U-shaped portions with the outer ends of the legs of the first and second U-shaped frame portions connected to each other to cause the U-shaped frame portions to lie in substantially parallel planes. The various pipes of the plastic pipe frame are connected to each other by elbows or by belled portions at the ends of the pipes which receive the ends of adjacent pipes.
