ABSTRACT There is provided a new and useful washcloth comprising in combination a rectangular panel having a first end and a second end; a first handle attached to the first end of the panel; a second handle attached to the second end of the panel; a first fastening means attached to the panel at the first end of the panel; and a second fastening means attached to the panel at the second end of the panel; the panel being movable between an unfolded position wherein the first handle can be grasped in one hand and the second handle can be grasped in the other hand, and a folded position with the first and second ends of the panel positioned adjacent one another to form an approximately square shape; the first and second fastening means coacting with one another to fasten the first and second ends of the panel to one another when the panel is in the folded position.
