ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a strip blind, the runners of which run in a track. In each of these runners is mounted a rotating shaft which can act on a cogged wheel and a strip hook; these are linked with each other via an arrangement for effecting translational and rotational adjustments of the hooks. The cogged wheel is integral with the rotating shaft; its teeth engage the teeth of toothed segments which face each other, and each of which is situated at the extremity of a coupling element with a coupling strip; the free end of the coupling element is shaped as a carrier for the neighbouring runner. The strip blind can be operated by using a rod, chain, or the like. Lateral movement of the strips is possible either in a completely of partially closed position.
