- 1- Abstract: The present invention relates to a strip tape for use with a food product packaging container. The tape is attached to the inner side of a seam of the container to provide a barrier. The tape is made from a paper based ply material blank. The tape comprises a plurality of layers which include a metal layer of which the side edges remain in the interior of the tape.
