ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A structural coupling for joining projecting wall structures to a building. The coupling consists of an insulation body of a thermally insulating material and elongated metallic reinforcing elements which pass through said insulation body substantially transversely thereto, which protrude laterally on both sides therefrom and are coated against corrosion or formed of corrosion resistant material. In order to improve the corrosion resistance of the coupling, an elastic or resilient protective layer is provided to enclose at least a part of the metallic reinforcing elements in the transition regions between the insulation body and the adjoining building or wall structures. -19-
