Abstract A structural element for cellular structures that are filled with loose material. The structural element is especially suited for cultivable sloping supporting walls. and sound insulating walls filled with earth. The element comprises a front wall, a rear wall, and two side walls, with the outer surface of the front wall projecting forward from bottom to top relative to the installed position of the structural element. At least one part of the outer surface of the front wall is designed so as to be curved and has at least one axis of curvature which is positioned at an angle to a horizontal reference plane with the structural element in the installed position.
