STRUCTURAL JOINT ASSEMBLY (Abstract) A structural joint assembly is provided between per- pendicular beam members. One of the members includes a U-shaped channel having longitudinal ribs projecting inwardly from the sidewalls thereof, and the other member includes a plate extension on one end thereof projecting into the channel of the first member transverse to the axis thereof. The side edges of the plate are notched to receive the ribs of the first member, and the sidewalls and/or bottom wall of the channel are provided with opposed resilient tabs engaging opposite sides of the plate. The ribs and notches interengage the two members against separation, and the tabs position the second member longitudinally with respect to the first member.
