The shelf-unit kit proposed has a U-shaped basic element (1) with a main shelf (2) and, at right angles to each of the ends (2') of the main shelf (2), a wall element (4, 5). The basic element (I) is fitted with a least one mounting socket (15) at each end (2') of the main shelf (2) and in the surfaces (14) of the far ends of each wall element (4, 5). The mounting socket (15) is designed to hold a spacer (11, 31), a centering pin (17) or a similar device, the spacers (11, 31) giving a vertical separation (12) equal to the thickness of the main shelf (2). This enables two or more basic elements (1) to be assembled one on top of the other with their wall elements (4, 5) facing in the same direction or towards each other. A shelf unit can thus be assembled easily using the basic elements in a wide variety of different combinations.
Cette invention concerne un meuble à étagères prêt à monter dont l'élément de base (1) est en forme de U et qui comprend une étagère principale (2) et, perpendiculairement aux deux extrémités (2') de l'étagère principale, des éléments verticaux (4, 5). L'élément de base (1) comprend au moins une encoche de montage (15) aux deux extrémités (2') de l'étagère principale (2) et dans les surfaces (14) à proximité des rives des éléments verticaux (4, 5). L'encoche de montage (15) est conçue pour retenir un espaceur (11, 31), une goupille de centrage (17) ou dispositif analogue, les espaceurs (11, 31) réalisant une séparation verticale (12) égale à l'épaisseur de l'étagère principale. Cette disposition constructive permet d'assembler un ou plusieurs éléments de base (1) les uns sur les autres, les éléments verticaux étant orientés dans la même direction ou les uns vers les autres. Un meuble à étagère peut ainsi être assemblée aisément à partir d'une large variété de combinaisons d'éléments de base.
