A structurally tuned, vibration-based component checking system for detecting anomalies in a component of an assembly prior to the component being installed in the assembly is provided. The component checking system operates the component being tested at a speed that is different from the speed at which the component operates during normal use in the assembly, and also under a different load. To compensate for this difference in speed and load, the component checking system is structurally tuned such that a relationship exists between the modal frequencies and speed of operation of the component checking system and the modal frequencies and speed of operation of the assembly.
Cette invention concerne un système de contrôle de composants à partir des vibrations émises, qui est structurellement accordé et qui permet de détecter des anomalies dans le composant d'un ensemble avant son montage dans ledit ensemble. Ce système de contrôle permet de faire fonctionner le composant considéré à une vitesse différente de celle à laquelle ledit composant est normalement appelé à fonctionner ainsi que sous une charge différente. L'accord structurel du système de contrôle de composants, qui permet de compenser l'écart entre vitesses et charges, est telle qu'il existe une relation entre d'une part les fréquences modales et la vitesse de marche du système de contrôle de composants, d'autre part les fréquences modales et la vitesse de marche de l'ensemble.
