Disclosed is a battery structure of a lithium secondary battery comprising an internal electrode body formed by winding a positive electrode, and a negative electrode, with a separator sandwiched therebetween, around the outer periphery of a core, and an electrolyte solution to impregnate the internal electrode body, wherein the core is sandwiched to be fixed between caps for sealing the end surfaces of a case for the battery. Also disclosed is a battery structure of a lithium secondary battery comprising an internal electrode body formed by winding a positive electrode, and a negative electrode, with a separator sandwiched therebetween, around the outer periphery of a core, and an electrolyte solution to impregnate the internal electrode body, wherein an insulating member is disposed at both ends of the core to extend length of the core, and the core as well as the insulating member are sandwiched to be fixed between caps to seal end surfaces of a case for the battery.
