Structured surfactant systems contain a deflocculant and, in addition, an auxiliary stabiliser to inhibit temperature instability. The auxiliary stabiliser comprises a substantially non cross-linked water soluble copolymer having a hydrophulic backbone and sufficient C2-6 hydrophobic organic side chains to permit entanglement of the polymer chains.
