ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A trowelable, lightweight synthetic stucco composition for producing a lightweight non-porous stucco finish is disclosed. The composition consists essentially of d pigmented latex paint, a texturizing amount of a crushable, lightweight aggregate of a texterizing particle size, and a protective amount of a hard, non-crushable aggregate of a protective particle size, wherein the hard aggregate protects the crushable aggregate from substantial particle size reduction upon troweling.
