The present invention provides a stud mount that is molded into the traction lug during the manufacturing stage of the track so as to define the elongate stud receiving passage wherein studs are inserted by force. In particular, the stud is anchored in the stud mounts to a rigid portion of the track independently of the reinforcing rods, thereby allowing a reduced complexity of machining of the stud mounting cylinder and strengthened mechanical properties of the track due to a decoupling between the reinforcing rods and the studs.
