A stuffed toy, plush animal, or other stuffed object incorporates an internal container for storing ashes. The stuffed toy/plush animal/stuffed object can have a body filled with a soft stuffing. An internal ash container is disposed inside the body of the stuffed object or stuffed toy. The internal container defines an enclosure for containing cinerary ashes, i.e. cremated remains. This stuffed toy can be, for example, a teddy bear, or any other plush animal or doll. The internal container can be a cinerary urn shaped like a heart or any other shape. The cinerary urn can be permanently sewn inside the body of the stuffed toy or it can be made to be removable. This stuffed toy can thus be used by next of kin as a means for storing ashes.
