A stuffing box for a wellhead is provided, the stuffing box comprising: a stationary housing defining a passage for receiving a well tubular; a tubular shaft mounted on the stationary housing for rotation within the passage and defining an inner axial bore adapted to form a static seal around a well tubular in use, the tubular shaft defining an axially facing annular surface; and a primary pressure seal mounted on the stationary housing and adapted to dynamically seal in an axial direction against the axially facing annular surface.
