A styrenic resin sheet having a thickness of 0.10 - 2.5 mm and a heat shrinkage factor of 20 % or less, and a molding produced therefrom. The sheet is produced from a styrenic resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a rubber-modified styrenic resin and 3-15 parts by weight of a terpene resin. The rubber-modified styrenic resin comprises 85-92 wt.% of a continuous phase of a copolymer composed of 45-60 wt.% of styrene monomer units, 5-15 wt.% of alkyl (C2-C4) acrylate and/or methacrylate monomer units and 25-50 wt.% of methyl methacrylate monomer units and 15-8 wt.% of dispersed rubbery elastomer particles having an average diameter of 0.4-0.9 µm and comprising a binary styrene-butadiene block copolymer containing 25-40 wt.% of styrene. This sheet is excellent in transparency, strength and rigidity and also in moldability in thermal fabrication, does not cause any reduction in the product transparency, and is suitable as a food wrapping material, a packaging material for electrical components, and so forth.
Feuille en résine de styrène d'une épaisseur de 0,10 à 2,5 mm, présentant un facteur de retrait à la chaleur de 20 % ou moins, et moulage produit à partir de cette feuille. La feuille est obtenue à partir d'une composition de résine de styrène renfermant 100 parties en poids d'une résine de styrène modifié au caoutchouc et 3 à 15 parties en poids de résine de terpène. La résine de styrène modifiée au caoutchouc renferme 85 à 92 % en poids d'une phase continue d'un polymère composée de 45 à 60 % en poids d'unités monomère de styrène, 5 à 15 % en poids d'alkyle (C¿2?-C¿4?) acrylate et/ou d'unité monomère de méthacrylate, de 25 à 50 % en poids d'unités monomères de méthacrylate de méthyle et 15 à 8 % en poids de particules d'élastomère caoutchouteux en dispersion d'un calibre moyen de 0,4-0,9 µm et incluant un copolymère-bloc styrène-butadiène binaire renfermant 25 à 40 % en poids de styrène. Cette feuille présente d'excellentes qualités de transparence, de résistance et de rigidité ainsi qu'une excellente aptitude au moulage dans les procédés de fabrication à chaud. Elle n'entraîne aucune altération de la transparence du produit et se prête à des utilisations telles que l'emballage de denrées alimentaires, l'enrobage de composants électriques, etc.
