Sub-urethral support implant (1) including a flexible elongated member (2) provided with a central portion (3) to be positioned under the unrethra; two ends (4, 5) positioned, relative to the central portion (3), in such a way that, when the elongated member (2) is in its operational position with the central portion thereof (3) substantially facing the urethra, one of the ends (4, 5) is arranged between the inner right obturator muscle (OID) and the outer right obturator muscle (OED), the other end being arranged between the inner left obturator muscle (OIG) and the outer left obturator muscle (OEG); and position-holding means arranged at the ends (4, 5) for ensuring, by simply bearing on the tissue, a sufficient immobilisation of the elongated member (2) to enable cell rehabitation about the implant (1). The invention is also directed to urinary incontinence correcting prosthetic implants.

L'invention concerne un implant (1) de soutènement sous-urétral comprenant un élément allongé (2) souple pourvu - d'une partie centrale (3) destinée à être positionnée sous l'urètre, - de deux extrémités (4, 5) positionnées relativement à la partie centrale (3) de telle sorte que lorsque l'élément allongé (2) est en position fonctionnelle, sa partie centrale (3) se trouvant alors sensiblement au droit de l'urètre, l'une des extrémités (4, 5) est disposée entre le muscle obturateur interne droit (OID) et le muscle obturateur externe droit (OED), l'autre extrémité étant disposée entre le muscle obturateur interne gauche (OIG) et 'le muscle obturateur externe gauche (OEG), - et de moyens de maintien en position disposés aux extrémités (4, 5), et destinés à assurer, par simple appui sur les tissus, une immobilisation suffisante de l'élément allongé (2) pour permettre la ré-~habitation cellulaire autour de l'implant (1). - Implants prothétiques de correction de l'incontinence urinaire.
