The present invention provides a subfloor system for placement over a substrate and method of forming a sports floor therewith. The subfloor consists of a base (10), a resilient pad (20), an upper member (22), and brackets (30, 32). The resilient pad is positioned on the base, preferably with an elongated slot (12) formed in the upper surface of the base. The upper member has a projection (24) and two shoulders (26, 28) and is operably connected to the top surface of the resilient pad. The brackets have upper (36, 37) and lower (34, 35) tabs and are secured to the base and to the upper member. The lower tab fits within the base and the upper tab rests on the corresponding shoulder of the upper member. Under load, the resilient pad compresses thereby causing the upper member to move towards the base. The brackets, however, limit vertical movement of the upper member relative the base.
La présente invention concerne un système de sous-plancher à placer sur un substrat et un procédé de fabrication d'un sol de sport avec ceux-ci. Le sous-plancher est constitué d'une base (10), d'une garniture (20) souple, d'un élément (22) supérieur et de consoles (30, 32). La garniture souple est placée sur la base, de préférence, dans un évidement (12) oblong sur la surface supérieure de la base. L'élément supérieur présente une protubérance (24) et deux épaulements (26, 28) et est relié fonctionnellement à la surface supérieure de la garniture souple. Les consoles présentent des pattes supérieures (36, 37) et inférieures (34, 35) et sont fixées sur la base et à l'élément supérieur. La patte inférieure s'encastre dans la base et la patte supérieure vient reposer sur l'épaulement correspondant de l'élément supérieur. Sous l'effet d'une charge, la garniture élastique est comprimée entraînant ainsi le déplacement de l'élément supérieur vers la base. Les consoles, cependant, limitent un mouvement vertical de l'élément supérieur par rapport à la base.
