ABSTRACT In vehicle hub bearings, the interior of the hub housing is filled with liquid lubricant to stop penetration of water through the sealing lip of the hub seal when the hub is submerged in water. Means are provided for automatically filling a hub housing with liquid lubricant when the hub is stationary or rotating at low speed. Deterioration of bearings is thus prevented.
