SUBSCRIBER LINE INTERFACE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A subscriber line interface circuit which includes a pair of amplifiers whose outputs are con- nected to the subscriber's line. The inputs are con- trolled whereby each of the amplifiers may either source or sink the line current. This circuit also includes an arrangement to control the voltage level to the amplifier and the line such that power consumption is minimized.
