1 PHF 77-574 C ABSTRACTS: A subscriber's circuit for connecting a sub- scriber's line to a telephone exchange, comprising a sym- metrical amplifier circuit arranged between two feed points having different potentials, the amplifier circuit having two input terminals and two output terminals. Each one of these output terminals is connected to a wire of the subscriber's line and each input terminal of the sym- metrical amplifier circuit is connected to an output of an associated digital-to-analog converter. An input of the converter is connected to one or the other feed point by means of a change-over switch, the change-over switches being controlled in anti-phase by a binary digital signal characterizing a voltage desired for the subscriber's line and derived from a digital signal generator under the con- trol of the telephone exchange.
