ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A novel natural plant substitute for smoking tobacco is pro- vided herein. In one embodiment, it includes dried angelica leaves; dried dittany leaves; dried licorice leaves; dried herb of pearly ever- lasting; dried leaves and/or blossoms of pussytoes; dried sunflower leaves; dried clover petals; dried broad leaves of coltsfoot; dried bear- berry leaves; dried herbs and leaves of wild marjoram; dried and com- minuted flowering nut of chervil; dried mixture of comminuted berries and leaves and roots of sumac; and dried powdered roots and blossoms of asters. It has been found that this smoking tobacco substitute has a good natural flavour and has smoking characteristics similar to tobacco without the well-known hazardous characteristics.
