ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides now and useful substi- tuted pyridines and their use in herbicidal compositions for controlling undesirable vegetation. The pyridine is subs- tituted in the two and/or six positions with a halogenated radical. In the three and/or five positions, the pyridine is substituted with a carboxylic acid-derived heterocyclic radical. In the four position, the pyridine is substituted with an alkyl radical.
