The present invention is directed to novel 2-aminobenzamide thereof, represented by general Formula (I) where R1-R3, X and A-D are defined herein. The present invention also relates to the discovery that compounds having Formula (I) are potent inhibitors of caspases and apoptotic cell death. Therefore, the inhibitors of this invention can retard or block cell death in a variety of clinical conditions in which the loss of cells, tissues or entire organs occurs.
La présente invention concerne de nouveaux 2-aminobenzamides, représentés par la formule générale (I), dans laquelle R¿1?-R¿3?, X, et A-D sont tels que définis dans la description. La présente invention concerne également la découverte selon laquelle des composés de formule (I) sont de puissants inhibiteurs des caspases et de la mort cellulaire apoptotique.
