ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to 2-(pyridyl-cyclopropyl)-chromone compounds of formula I Image (I) wherein n is O or 1; R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group which is unsubstituted or substituted by a Image group, wherein each of R3 and R4 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-C2 alkyl group; R2 represents a C2-C3 alkyl group or an allyl group and wherein the methyl group on the pyridine ring is in the 6- or in the 5- position. The invention also extends to pharmaceutically acceptable salts of compounds of formula I. The compounds display antiallergic activity and are useful in the treatment of, for example bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, hay fever, urticaria and dermatosis.
