ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to novel N-[1-(3',4'-methylene- dioxyphenyl)prop-2-yl]-N'-(substituted phenyl)-piperazines and the acid addition salts thereof as well as to processes for their preparation. The novel compounds possess the property of reducing the blood lipid level and the blood cholesterol level and exhibit only low toxicity. The novel compounds are thus potentially of interest in the treatment of coronary thrombosis. Processes for the production of the novel compounds are described and examples of certain of the novel compounds are given. Pharmaceutical compositions containing the novel compounds are described and exemplified.
