Compounds represented by formula (I) (wherein R1 represents an optionally substituted aliphatic hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbon, or heterocyclic group, an optionally substituted group represented by the formula OR1a, or an optionally substituted group represented by the formula N(R1b)R1c; X represents optionally substituted methylene, nitrogen, sulfur, or oxygen; Y represents methylene or nitrogen; ring A represents an optionally substituted five- to eight-membered ring; Ar represents an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbon group; m is an integer of 0 to 2 and n is an integer of 1 to 3, provided that the sum of m and n is 4 or smaller; and when X is methylene, then Y represents optionally substituted methylene) or salts thereof. These compounds function to inhibit the production of nitrogen monoxide and cytokine. They are hence useful as a preventive and/or remedy for diseases such as heart diseases, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory diseases, central nervous system diseases, infectious diseases, sepsis, and septic shock.
La présente invention concerne des composés représentés par la formule générale (I), ou certains de leurs sels. Dans cette formule, R?1¿ est hydrocarbure aliphatique, éventuellement substitué, hydrocarbure aromatique, un groupe hétérocyclique, un groupe éventuellement substitué représenté par la formule OR?1a¿, ou un groupe éventuellement substitué représenté par la formule N(R?1b¿)R?1c¿. X est méthylène éventuellement substitué, soufre ou oxygène. Y est méthylène ou azote. A est un cycle de cinq à huit segments, éventuellement substitué. Ar est un groupe hydrocarbure aromatique, éventuellement substitué. "m" est un entier valant 0, 1 ou 2, et "n" est un entier valant 1, 2 ou 3, le total m+n ne devant pas excéder 4. En outre, lorsque X est méthylène, Y est méthylène éventuellement substitué. Ces composés ont pour fonction d'inhiber la production de monoxyde d'azote et de cytokine. Ils conviennent donc en traitement préventif et/ou curatif d'affections cardiaques, d'affections auto-immunes, d'affections inflammatoires, d'affections du système nerveux central, d'infections, de septicémies et des chocs septiques.
