This invention relates to the use of compounds of general formula (I) wherein, R is selected from methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, iso-propyl, c-propyl, n-butyl, sec.-butyl, iso-butyl, tert.-butyl, c-butyl, n-pentyl, sec.-pentyl, iso- pentyl, tert.pentyl, neo-pentyl, c-pentyl, c-hexyl and c-heptyl; RNa and RNb are the same or different and selected from hydrogen, methyl and ethyl; R2, R3, R5 and R6 are independently selected from hydrogen, methyl, methoxy, thiomethyl, hydroxy, fluoro, chloro, bromo, trifluoromethyl, phenyl and benzyl; n is 1, 2 or 3; R' and R'' are the same or different and selected from methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, iso-propyl,n-butyl, sec.-butyl, and iso-butyl or R' and R'' together form a saturated heterocyclic ring of 5-7 atoms is 1, 2, 3; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates and solvates thereof; for the preparation of a medicament for stimulation of transcription factor AP (activator protein)-1; compositions comprising the compounds of formula (I). The invention also comprises the compounds of general formula (I) with the exclusion of compounds wherein R, R' and R'' simultaneously are methyl. The compounds are useful for the treatment of cancer, infection and manic- depressive illness.
L'invention concerne l'utilisation de composés représentés par la formule générale (I), dans laquelle R est choisi dans le groupe constitué de méthyle, éthyle, n-propyle, iso-propyle, c-propyle, n-butyle, sec.-butyle, iso-butyle, tert.-butyle, c-butyle, n-pentyle, sec.-pentyle, iso-pentyle, tert.-pentyle, néo-pentyle, c-pentyle, c-hexyle et c-heptyle; R¿Na? et R¿Nb? sont identiques ou différents et choisis dans le groupe constitué de hydrogène, méthyle et éthyle; R¿2?, R¿3?, R¿5? et R¿6? sont indépendamment choisis dans le groupe constitué par hydrogène, méthyle, méthoxy, thiométhyle, hydroxy, fluoro, chloro, bromo, trifluorométhyle, phényle et benzyle; n vaut 1, 2 ou 3; R' et R'' sont identiques ou différents et choisis dans le groupe constitué de méthyle, éthyle, n-propyle, iso-propyle, n-butyle, sec.-butyle et iso-butyle ou R' et R'' forment ensemble un noyau hétérocyclique saturé de 5-7 atomes, n vaut 1, 2, 3. L'invention concerne également des sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables, des hydrates et des solvates desdits composés, lesquels conviennent à la préparation d'un médicament pour la stimulation du facteur de transcription AP (protéine d'activation)-1. L'invention concerne en outre des compositions comprenant les composés représentés par la formule (I). L'invention concerne enfin des composés représentés par la formule générale (I) à l'exception de composés dans lesquels R, R' et R'' représentent simultanément méthyle. Lesdits composés conviennent pour le traitement du cancer, les infections et la maladie affective bipolaire.
