Substituted benzoic acid derivatives represented by the general formula (|) and exhibiting NF-.kappa.B inhibiting activity: (|) (||) (|||) wherein R3, R4, and R5 are each independently hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, or C1-6 alkoxy; R9 and R10 are each independently hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, or C2-11 acyl; R2 is an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbon group or an optionally substituted heterocyclic group; and X is carboxyl which may be converted into an ester or an amide.
L'invention concerne des dérivés d'acide benzoïque substitués représentés par la formule (1) et possédant une activité d'inhibition de NF-KB. Dans cette formule, R3, R4 et R5 représentent chacun indépendamment hydrogène, C1-6 alkyle ou C1-6 alcoxy; R9 et R10 représentent chacun indépendamment hydrogène, C1-6alkyle ou C2-11acyle; R2 représente un groupe hydrocarbure aromatique ou un groupe hétérocyclique éventuellement substitué; et X représente carboxyle pouvant être converti en un ester ou un amide.
