The present invention is directed to substituted isoquinoline derivatives, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and tautomers of such compounds or salts, that inhibit ß-site amyloid precursor protein-cleaving enzyme (BACE) and that may be useful in the treatment of diseases in which BACE is involved, such as Alzheimer's disease. The invention is also directed to pharmaceutical compositions comprising these compounds and the use of these compounds and compositions in the treatment of such diseases in which BACE is involved.
Cette invention concerne des dérivés d'isoquinoline substitués, leurs sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables, et tautomères de ces composés ou sels, qui inhibent l'enzyme BACE (enzyme de clivage de la protéine précurseur du peptide amyloïde ß) et qui sont utilisés dans le traitement des maladies dans lesquelles intervient l'enzyme BACE, par exemple la maladie d'Alzheimer. L'invention concerne également des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant ces composés et l'utilisation de ces composés et de ces compositions dans le traitement des maladies dans lesquelles l'enzyme BACE intervient.
