Disclosed is a process for modifying polyamide polymers by attaching a modifying group to the amide nitrogen atoms and the modified product formed. The process comprises contacting a modifier with a diamine then reacting the resulting modified diamine with diacid to form the modified polyamide.

L'invention concerne un procédé de modification de polymères de polyamide par fixation d'un groupe modificateur aux atomes d'azote d'amide, ainsi que le produit modifié obtenu. Le procédé consiste à mettre en contact un modificateur avec une diamine puis à mettre en réaction la diamine modifiée obtenue avec un diacide pour former le polyamide modifié.
