- 212 - Abstract of the Disclosure: Herbicides containing at least one substituted pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine I Image I where R1 and R2 are each hydrogen; unsubstituted or substituted alkyl; alkoxy; haloalkoxy; alkylamino; alkenyl; alkynyl; unsubstituted or substituted cycloalkyl; unsubstituted or substituted aryl or heteroaryl; R3 is hydroxyl; unsubstituted or substituted amino; halogen; alkylthio; alkoxycarbonyl or a radical R1; R4 is a radical R1; CN; NO2; COOH; CSOH; SO2-R5; C(=X)-R7; C(=Y)-R8, or R7-C(YR9)-ZR10; R5 is a radical R1; hydroxyl; unsubstituted or substituted amino; halogen; alkylthio; pyrrolidin-1-yl; piperidin-1- yl; morpholin-1-yl; unsubstituted or substituted alkylcarbonyloxy; unsubstituted or substituted alkylsulfonyloxy; unsubstituted or substituted aryloxy, arylamino, benzyloxy, benzylamino, aroyloxy or phenylsulfonyloxy; N(R12)-SO2-NR13; N(R12)-CO-R14; N(R12)-CS-R14; or a plant-tolerated salt of those compounds I in which at least one of the substituents R1 to R5 is an acidic or a basic group, and at least one herbicidal active ingredient selected from A) the group consisting of the cyclohexenone derivatives II, or B) the group consisting of the 2-(heteroaryloxy)- or -213- 2-(4-aryloxy)-phenoxycarboxylic acid derivative III.
