ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention provides substituted sulphoximides and their salts represented by the general formula I Image (I) in which R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, represent straight or branched chain alkyl groups or aryl or aralkyl groups which may be substituted or R1 and R2 may represent the atoms required to complete a ring system together with the sulphur atom joining them; R3 and R4 which may be the same or different, represent hydrogen atoms or straight or branched chain alkyl groups or they represent aryl groups which may be substituted; R5 and R6 represent alkyl groups or they form a hetero- cyclic ring together with the nitrogen atoms; R7 represents a hydrogen atom or a straight or branched chain alkyl group; X represents an inorganic or organic anion of a physio- logically acceptable acid; and n represents 0 or 1. These compounds have spasmolytic and broncholytic action. - 1 -
