A coated substrate is provided which includes an outer coating formed from a film-forming composition which includes a crosslinkable, non-gelled acrylic polymer and a crosslinking material capable of reacting with the acrylic polymer to form a crosslinked outer coating. The acrylic polymer is the reaction product of a polyoxyakylene acrylate monomer comprising a terminal alkoxy group containing about 1 to about 6 carbon atoms and a copolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomer different from the polyoxyalkylene acrylate monomer. A multi-component composite coating composition is also provided.
Ce substrat revêtu est pourvu d'un enduit extérieur formé à l'aide d'une composition filmogène renfermant un polymère acrylique réticulable non gélifié et une substance réticulable capable de réagir avec le polymère acrylique et ce, pour donner un enduit extérieur réticulé. Le polymère acrylique est le produit de la réaction d'un monomère d'acrylate de polyoxyalkylène, comportant un groupe alcoxy terminal portant de 1 à environ 6 atomes de carbone, et d'un monomère copolymérisable insaturé éthyléniquement, différent du monomère d'acrylate de polyoxyalkylène. L'invention a également trait à une composition d'enduction composite à plusieurs composants.
